I'm wondering what your office hours are this semester. I'd like to stop by and say "Hi!" sometime this week or next, but since I don't have a regular parking pass anymore and I'll have to get a visitor's permit, I want to make sure you'll be there. I tried sending you an e-mail last week, but didn't get a response... Probably the rush and confusion of the first week of classes or it got lost in the jumble...

Lovely to hear from you, always! Yes, I did see your mail and found my own response to it too, but I don't know why Mercury (the god of communications) begrudged it to you!
I will be at the office this Thursday at 4 pm until 5. Can you make it then? If not, let me know (over e-mail) and I will make other plans.

Oh, thanks, professor! :D Yeah, I never got your e-mail message, unless it went to my junk mail and got deleted, which is always possible unfortunately. I'm sorry that I didn't make it to the office this week. I would have been able to, but I only just checked the blog. I'll e-mail you tomorrow to set up a time for next week.
